It all began one excruciatingly hot day in late September… just kidding, we won’t start my introduction that far back.
Hi, everyone! Thank you for taking the time to dive into my creative world. I’ve been writing ever since I developed the motor skills needed to put a tiny hand to pen to paper. I guess I had a lot to say even as a little human.
After much time and schooling had passed, I earned a master’s degree in journalism and have since contributed work for print and digital publications, which included writing feature articles, copywriting, social media, advertisements, and brochures. I also delved into the world of sketch and screenwriting, served as a contributing editor for University of La Verne’s Voice magazine, and developed and led a small but mighty copywriting team at another higher education institution.
In the midst of cultivating a writing career, I have also spent time delving into other creative pursuits such as graphic design, voice acting, background acting, and musical improv! And somewhere in between all of that, I am working on writing my first book, which many in my life (mostly my mother) have been on my case to write for several years now. NOTE: I’ll update this section WHEN I make their dreams come true.
